Prada x Adidas The First Trainer From Pradadidas Release

Prada and Adidas have released a first look at their highly-anticipated collaboration. After much teasing via the Prada and Adidas social channels, the luxury house and the sportswear giant have released a glimpse of the first products from their collaboration. And it’s looking very much like it’s worth the wait.

The two-piece collection comprises a pair of Prada Superstar trainers and a Prada for Adidas Bowling bag, both of which are sold together as a set.

Just 700 of the bag and sneaker sets have been produced, and in order to highlight this exclusivity, on the side of each sneaker there’s an edition number embossed in to the Italian-made leather.

Naturally, trainers were top of the agenda. The Prada Superstar sneaker is the Italian label’s limited-edition take on the Adidas Originals sports shoe, which launched in 1969 and is still one of the German titan’s universal signatures. Created in Italy in a limited run of 700, each new unisex model features the edition number and the Prada logo embossed on the side, plus the combined brand tag on the tongue.

Adidas and Prada Rich Legacies
For the first time, adidas and prada are drawing on their rich legacies to explore a new relationship between heritage, technology, and innovation. The prada for adidas vision is to re-engineer timeless icons with two monumental archives as our inspiration.

This year, the shared journey begins with the release of two limited edition prada for adidas styles. Each silhouette represents the true spirit of collaboration—originating in the realm of sport, transposed to the street, and re-contextualized with luxury. The two styles are set to launch for men and women globally in December 2019—crafted entirely by prada in italy.

Prada for adidas is a laboratory for ideas—each partner bringing a unique perspective to a conversation founded on mutual exploration and the search for new boundaries.
